How it works
The calculator adds your manual per-load laundry costs, then multiplies that cost by
your weekly load count. Monthly cost uses 4.345 weeks as an average month, and yearly
cost uses 52 weeks.
What the result means
Cost per load shows the estimated cost for one laundry load. Weekly, monthly, and yearly
totals show how that per-load cost adds up over time. Largest cost part shows which
single cost input contributes the most.
Limitations
This is a simple manual-cost estimate. It does not calculate electricity usage from
wattage, machine efficiency, utility rates, taxes, or laundry product size. It also does
not convert currencies.
This tool is for personal estimation only and does not provide financial, tax, legal,
investment, or accounting advice.
